Azoulay, Director-General of UNESCO, delivered a speech at the proposal conference that day, saying that the world needs to formulate rules for artificial intelligence to benefit mankind. The Recommendation on Ethical Aspects of Artificial Intelligence is an important initiative, giving countries the responsibility to apply the framework at the appropriate level.
