Recently, the Beijing Qianzhan Artificial Intelligence Safety and Governance Research Institute released the “Lingdu” artificial intelligence technology ethics assessment platform. This assessment tool will use artificial intelligence technology to provide automated and systematic science and technology ethics analysis and risk assessment for scientific research institutions and enterprises, and to control the "ethical steering wheel" for scientific and technological innovation.

"Lingdu" Artificial Intelligence Technology Ethics Assessment Platform
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, countries have strengthened the supervision of scientific and technological ethics in related fields. However, the traditional model that only relies on ethics expert review is difficult to adapt to the needs of rapid iteration of scientific research. The "Lingdu" platform relies on technologies such as artificial intelligence language models, agents, automated ethical safety detection, and value alignment, and relies on a structured knowledge base of science and technology ethics and laws and regulations. It is based on the artificial intelligence ethics system built by Beijing Forward-looking Research Institute and more than 100 ethical assessment points.
At present, the platform has built a bilingual knowledge base and reasoning engine on science and technology ethics laws and regulations in Chinese and English. The system collects relevant international science and technology ethics, laws and regulations, and international conventions, covering many key scientific and technological fields such as artificial intelligence, data security, brain-computer interface, medical health, and autonomous driving.
"The platform can conduct in-depth analysis of relevant product designs and technical documents, etc., and accurately identify potential ethical issues." Zeng Yi, director of Beijing Qianzhan Research Institute, said that the platform's knowledge base will be updated in a timely manner to simultaneously track the latest changes in global science and technology ethics, regulations, and standards. Enterprises can also use this platform to reduce compliance costs, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, which can obtain professional and reliable ethical risk assessments.
Zeng Yi said that the "Lingdu" platform is not only a tool innovation, but also a revolution in the ethical governance model of artificial intelligence. The institute will continue to improve the platform and join hands with global industry, academia and research forces to jointly build a new ecology of scientific and technological ethics governance that meets the needs of the intelligent era.
