Under the guidance of the Network Management and Technology Bureau of the Central Cyberspace Security Association and other departments, the "Guidelines for Providing Generative Artificial Intelligence Services to Minors" released by the China Cyberspace Security Association in June this year has sparked widespread consensus. The "Consensus" released by the association in collaboration with units in various industries and fields focuses on the real challenges faced by artificial intelligence to serve minors, and proposes industry norms from seven aspects: health priority, content guarantee, privacy protection, clear rules, transparency and credibility, collaborative governance, and ethics first. It advocates artificial intelligence service providers to effectively fulfill their social responsibilities in product design, content management, privacy protection, mental health guidance, etc., and jointly create a safe, healthy and credible digital environment.

The release of the "Consensus" has received active responses from many parties such as scientific research institutions, Internet companies, and legal service institutions. All participants said that the release of the "Consensus" is an important measure for the industry's self-discipline and responsibility sharing, which will help to gather industrial synergy, promote the benign interaction of artificial intelligence in innovation and security, and provide more solid guarantees for the healthy growth of minors.

Consensus on ethical norms for artificial intelligence services for minors
