Conference Introduction
Artificial intelligence brings profound changes in information processing, data collection, human decision-making and human-machine relationships, challenging social structures, legal and political values, human-machine relationships, and its ideological and rational status as the basis of human rights and dignity.
Faced with the opportunities and challenges brought by the current emerging science and technology, the China Association for Science and Technology-Fudan University Institute of Science and Technology Ethics and Human Future, the China Association for Science and Technology Innovation Strategy Research Institute and the School of Philosophy of Fudan University jointly hosted the international academic conference with the theme of "Intercultural Dialogue of Artificial Intelligence Ethics". The meeting also received support from the Shanghai Dialectical Natural Science Research Association, the Global Public Policy Research Institute of Fudan University, the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, the Shanghai Ethics Society and the "Double First-Class" project of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of Fudan University.
The conference invited famous scholars from many countries in related fields, including Mark, Professor of the University of Vienna, Austria, Editor-in-Chief of International Journals, Chairman of the Technical Assessment Bureau of the German Federal Parliament, Professor of the Technical University of Darmstadt, Professor Carl, Professor of the Colorado University of Mining and Technology, Professor of the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, Associate Professor of the National Research Institute of Perm, Russia, and Executive Director of the China New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Strategy, etc., to jointly discuss issues such as the ethical theory of artificial intelligence, the risks and governance, value alignment and trust of big data and general artificial intelligence.
