People's Daily Haikou, November 13 (Reporter Mao Lei) Recently, the seminar on "Ethical Governance of Artificial Intelligence: Risks and Response after the Free Trade Port's Closing" was held at the International Academic Exchange Center of Hainan University, aiming to deeply explore the ethical risks and response strategies faced in the field of artificial intelligence after the Free Trade Port's Closing.

This seminar brought together experts and scholars from academia, industry and government departments to analyze and discuss the latest developments, challenges and solutions of artificial intelligence ethical governance. The meeting provided participants with a platform for comprehensive understanding and in-depth discussion through various forms such as theme reports, unveiling ceremony and roundtable forum. During the meeting, the AI ​​Ethics and Governance Working Committee of Hainan Provincial Artificial Intelligence Society was unveiled, marking the formal establishment of the committee. At the meeting, Dr. Wang Jue, professor at Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Dr. Yuan Caiqiong, lecturer at Hainan University, shared thematic themes on "Algorithm Ethics and Ethical Decision-making of Autonomous Vehicles" and "Research on the Moral Risks and Ethical Governance of General Artificial Intelligence", providing participants with rich academic perspectives and practical guidance.

The seminar also had two roundtable forums, focusing on "the current development status of artificial intelligence ethical governance in Hainan Province" and "the risks and responses of artificial intelligence ethical governance after the closing operation".
